On The Road Again!

I thought I would take advantage of the wi-fi I have and update my blog!

We left town on Wednesday, and drove to Boardman, OR only about a 4 hour drive from home. G'ma & G'pa are going to the coast with us, and after G'pa's heart problems last year we are taking our days slow and steady to make sure he is comfortable driving the "Great White Hope" aka, their motorhome! LOL. Anyways, Boardman is a super cute farming town we usually stop in, the RV park is right on the Columbia River and has a beautiful panoramic view. I have about 20 photos of the most A-MAZING sunset ever, but the SD port on Dad's laptop doesn't work today so I cannot share my pictures today, but I will as soon as I get home!

Last night we were in Portland, well Gresham really, just outside of Portland, another nice stopping point for us. My girlfriend Angela texted me out of the blue yesterday, and the light bulb came on that we were in her town!!!! She was able to come over and visit us, it was so nice to see her, since I only get to see her like 2 times a year now and we are like sisters. We had a great dinner, well actually it wasn't dinner, it was heavy appetizers since we also had some of our old Revconeer (our motorhome club we belong to) friends over (Bud & Barbara who are both 91 this year) Mom fixed tri-tip steak that we served with horseradish cheese on a toasted baguette with red onions, as well as smoked salmon on grilled pita triangles, with cream cheese, capers, and red onion; my FAV! It was all delicious, and pretty healthy really! I also had a couple of gin and tonics... YUM! there is nothing more refreshing :o) Oh and I forgot to mention, I had 6, count them 6 of my 24 oz water water bottles! I had to go potty so many times yesterday while we were on the road!! LOL!

Today we will be on the road to my favorite place on earth; Westport, WA. It is quite possible the cutest little fishing town ever. There is nothing really to it, but I love to fish, and love to people watch, and love to walk around little towns, so Westort is the best! Plus, there are cute deckhands everywhere!!!! BONUS! LOL! I want post pictures of Westport, but once again, dad's thingy doesn't work, BUT, I do have pics of Westport on my Facebook under the album "My Favorite Place", so if you are FB friends with me, check them out there first, they are the pics I took last year when we were in Westport.
On the drive over today i also plan to drink just as much water!

Leaving Town!

So, today I leave for Westport, WA to spend a week with my family and to go deep sea fishin with grandpa and daddy! I cannot wait to get out of town for a few days and to get back on that boat and go fishin!!!!

So since I most likely won't have Internet where we're going, I will say goodbye for a week and write back when we get home! And hopefully post some picture of my trip!

Holy Busy!

Holy moly! I have been so busy the last couple days I forgot it was even the weekend!! I had a great time Thursday night at the Wildtree party. Friday night I helped out my girlfriend Drue at the U of I alumni scholarship fundraiser, I had a great time running into many family friend I have known for years.
Tonight i went to my girlfriend Tina's wedding which was BEAUTIFUL!!! We danced a little and had a great time laughing and catching up with old friends!
Anywho, I'm totally exhausted and am going to bed to catch up on some long lost sleep!

One Hell of a Painful Day

Well well well... Today started off great, once again no creamer in my coffee! Woohoo! 2 days in a row! :) lol anyways, when I was putting my pants on today I pinched a nerve in my lower back and have been in excruciating pain all day :(

As for everything else, it's been just fine, I'M NOT STARVING TODAY!! well not yet anyways!

Tonight I am going to a Wildtree tasting party, something I'm sure non of you have heard about.... Well not yet anyways. Wildtree is brand new to this area. It is all natural and organic, filler free no msg spices, as well as grapeseed oil, a healthier alternative to olive oil. It's a pretty impressive product and line. I will most likely be having a party in Sept... Let me know if you Re interested in attending! It's a tasting party, as in, you eat the whole time you are at the party... Sounds Terrible huh?!

Well I think I will go do some stretches and try to release my pinched nerve before the party!

What Have I gotten Myself Into!

Ok, so it is only day 2 and I am wondering what the heck I signed myslef up for! 365 days didnt seem like that much last night at 11pm when I decided to go about the adventure with my bestie V, but now, today after some rest and a bust day, 365 days seems like a really long time! Good news is, Im still up for the challenge, and the purpose of this blog is to keep myself accountable! Right?
So I'm not backing out, even though in the past after a day like today, i would have.

I am STARVING...
I am slightly irritable, i think its just about that time of the month; what a time for a diet.
This is not a diet, this is a life change, one i have attempted before..... this time WILL be different.
I didnt put any creamer in my coffee this moring to try and start the day off right.
I chugged water today as if Cd'A were having a drought and i had the last supply of water.
I have no energy or desire to work out.

Tomorrow will be a better day. :o)
